Byron Wier (Partner)
As a partner at BHW, Byron Wier is focused on building strong customer relationships and developing business opportunities. As a trusted consultant, Byron is often relied on for best practice guidance, project planning, design, and timely delivery.
In February 2006, Byron co-founded The BHW Group and began his hybrid role as a business administrator and technical consultant. As a primary consultant to McCoy's Building Supply, Byron currently oversees a spectrum of development projects and initiatives. In November 2008, McCoy's honored Byron and BHW as their Vendor Partner of the Year:

Prior to founding BHW, Byron worked as a Senior Consultant at Productivity Logic, Inc. in Austin, TX. As a technical lead, Byron spearheaded the implementation of the first Electronic Filing Service Provider to coincide with the State of Texas' newly created Legal eFiling Platform. Byron's work was later purchased by BearingPoint to be used as the reference solution for the State of Texas.
Following graduation from Baylor University, Byron was recruited by id5 Solutions in Austin, Texas as a software developer. During his first year at id5, Byron was awarded the "Five Award"- id5's top honor - for his demonstration of five key traits sought after by the company. It was at id5 that Byron first formed a relationship with Brett Burnett and Jason Hodges (BHW partners) and began developing professional relationships with customers that continue today.
Byron was born and raised in Grandview, Texas, a small community south of Ft. Worth. In High School, he found passion in technology as a member of the UIL programming team, earning two state championships in three years. Byron studied at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
As a native Texan, Byron has spent the majority of his professional career in Texas. Byron lives in Austin with his wife of seven years - Ashley - who also serves as BHW's office manager.
